The latest issue of "Entertainment Weekly" features an interview with Matthew Fox (Jack).

He talks about the flash-forward finale including why Jack thought his dad was still alive. He also refers to those who made it off the island and the bond they have due to "an agreement they all reached". (Could this be the "Oceanic Six" that other websites have recently mentioned?) There is also discussion of the new season's supernatural elements and time travel.
I'm telling you we're dealing with parallel universes here, people. One Ocean Flight 815 crashed on the island; another one is full of bodies crashed in a gorge. Jacob is a different version of Locke and his plea of "help me" is more along the lines of "I need your assistance". And the male and female skeletons in the cave from Season 1? I think they're Jack and Kate, who by series end in 2010 will sacrifice themselves by staying on the island to allow all the other survivors to live. The ones who in this new season's storyline will be killed when Jack and Kate (and maybe four others) escape. That's my latest theory. The wheels are turning as the premiere approaches. Bring it on!
